For Neil
Hi Neil,
I would ask you something.
I have an iPAQ h4150 with Ms PPC 4.20.0 with windows media player 9.
I need to embed it in a web page in PIE and I need to open a serverside
playlist (.wsx).
I was not able to find the WMP9 Activex control for PIE PPC 2003.
I only found the ActiveX for PPC 2002 (with CLSID:22D6...) and istalled it.
This works fine if I don't use parm tags but the player is not able to open
the.wsx files!!
When I try to open the .wsx file with the player out of the web page it can
open it an works fine!
I think that if I could use the ActiveX for WMP9 (with CLSID:6BF5...) the
player should be able to open that type of file.
Is now available an ActiveX for WMP9 ?
How I could do?
I need to use serverside playlist because I try to switch the media items
on the serverside!

Yep, that's the media player activeX which uses the object model of
the desktop media player version 6.4

I can't think of a reason why that'd happen ...

And that is the activeX which uses the object model of the desktop
player version 7 or later. They use different javascript and params
(eg use player.URL instead of player.fileName)

No, there's only media player 10 : For this, you need to update the
operating system of the iPAQ to windows mobile 2003 SE, and then
download the updated media player patch from the manufacturer - or get
a device with WM2003SE and media player 10 for PPC pre-installed.

It should work OK. I can't test this cause I don't have access to a
PocketPC with windows media 10 on it.
