Hello,
That is about it. Windows 7 doesn't show the card in device manager or anywhere. Help!

Ok first of all there is no such thing as a ATI 650 pci card.

Why don't you start by telling us what video card you have, what your other pc specs are and what AMD driver version your using.

ATI TV Wonderâ„¢ HD 650 PCI (NTSC/ATSC) is the card, and the driver is the ATI unified AVStream driver. My specs are
Pentium 4 2.66 ghz
768 ddr2
120g HD
Windows 7 home premium
I built this computer about 3 years ago. It has a VIA chipset which gave me headaches with XP and this card, but according to Microsoft, there should be no problems (Bahahahahaaa). The video card I have is an Nvidia Gforce. The card is not in device manager, and I have even swapped it in other PCI slots, and it still doesn't show. I have a Catalyst Installer, and I have the Catalyst CD that came with it, but of course, the CD won't install. I can click on it, and nothing happens.

Ok now I'm really confused. So neither your Nvidia card nor your ATI card show up in device manager?

I don't see how you build that computer 3 years ago. Pentium 4 was discontinued 6 years ago and replaced by Core 2 duo in 2005.

When I look up your card, it shows compatible with XP and Vista, it does not say anything about Windows7. Are you sure the card is windows 7 compatible??

nVidia card not showing up as a generic vga until you install the appropriate driver.

What is its model number?

As for TV card, ATI not support W7 drivers, but Visiontek did, weird, try them it may work.

I built it about 4 years ago, but not the motherboard, it was a used gaming board. I built it from there. The video card is recognised, not the tuner card. And here is something you can look at http://www.microsoft.com/windows/c [...] &os=64-bit

The VisionTek link doesn't work for me, but is a great idea. I'm gonna google it. Thanks for trying to help das_stig. To geekapproved, thanks for not believing me.
