Nvidia 8400

Hey everyone whats up.
Iam new to clocking so i need some advise before i start. I am running a 2.1Ghz Triple core, 4G ram, 8400 Nvidia Gfx. [Windows 7]

Honestly it runs smooth [minus the effects] Ea PFS: Battlefield 2, 1942, Vietnam on Medium-High resolutions with "NO" effects.
It says ffff off to call of duty 4, Crisis, Crisis 2. i wanna play these games but computer says no..

so... I turn to my reliable sorces!

can i clock this card?

if i can, how?

what can i do to improve performance without changing hardware.. ?

  1. Any advise would be greatly appreciated!
  2. Hmmm, I hate to be the one to tell you, but an 8400 is not quite a gaming card, an 8600 might qualify but just barely, sorry shweetheart but you are going to have spend some serious $$$ to upgrade that beast, midrange cards are in the $250-$300 us/cad dollar range, you might score better from a good used source....:)
  3. lol, thanks i know its ***, but i have to do with it for now. if i was to overclock it what Mhz do you think would be safe ?
