BIOS not recognizing SSD or HDD

Back in september my rig had a meltdown, my GTX 295 sparked and shorted out. I've been busy and only just got a cheap vid card to test the system. Everything seems to be working, but it's not recognizing my SSD or HDD. I've never really dealt with this kind of issue before.

I did remove the GTX 295 and the PSU for cleaning before replacing the PSU and installing the cheap GPU for testing.

Any help is greatly appreciated, I'm an amateur when it comes to fixing these kinds of things.

try different sata ports.

I've tried the different ports for each cable and I'm still getting this message in the PXE:
Yukon PXE v6.15.1.3 (20070328)

PXE-E61: Media test failure, check cable.
PXE-M0F: Exiting PXE ROM.

Reboot and select proper Boot device
or insert Boot Media in selected Boot device and press a key.

Ya that just means it can't boot from the NIC that's normal. Check your BIOS and see if the hard drive is listed and then check your boot order. Make sure the hard drive where your os is located boots first.
