New SSD

Hey guys! I was wondering what would be a good SSD for my system? I have Win7, 64 bit, Hitachi 7200 RPM HDD currently. (No SATA-3 here, just to let you know) I'm thinking around 64 gigs.... Also I heard someone say that in January, there would be new cheaper SSDs, should I wait?

Buy a vertex II (or any sandforce based SSD) at 60 or 64gb for around $100. Install win7 properly (ie RST driver etc.).

Worst case scenario you enjoy a great ssd (for one hundred bones) while you watch the latest and greatest flash out.
