After installing Vista Ultimate on my other harddrive, I'm dual booting Vista and XP...On XP when i go into Realtek HD Audio Manager and sample my 5.1 speakers it does the same now. On Vista, when I sample the front-right speaker starts working when the center speaker is supposed to and vice-versa...i've plugged the 3 speaker cords in the right place too so why are they coming wrong? I've also updated the drivers and still it comes out wrong...Im guessing its something with realtek or the wires...PLZ reply

Hey yuvra, I suggest you double-check all your connections. Unless there's something terribly wrong with your speakers, the wrong output is most likely caused by plugging the cables into the wrong port.

Alternatively, you should also check your audio settings on the computer. Is the balance centered? What about the fader?
