As you can see, Stress test is running and CPU-Z is still showing 1.2ghz
I tried to activate and desactivate Speedstep in my bios, but it changed nothing.
I also tried to set the multiplier to 12x with CrystalCPUID, nothing there too.
Wow, CoD4 and UT3 are lagging like hell!
Please, help me!

Make sure the power options in the vista control panel are set to high performance. Also make sure the processor power management is set to 100%.

CPU-Z still shows 1.2ghz with minimum and maximum power set to 100%.

you havent disabled it properly yet, speedstep that is
look @ things like EIST,C1E, and ofc speedstep just disable those

DG31PR mobo only have the option enable/disable EIST in its BIOS. I disabled/enabled it many times, but nothing changed at all.

Leave CPU-D running and increase the load on the CPU. Then check what CPU-D says.

Don't run blend. Stress the CPU only. What amount of CPU utilization does task manager show?

Reply to Jim_L9

Stressing the CPU made the processor go to 100%, but still at 1,2Ghz

Reply to shury234

Did you set the multiplier in the BIOS?

Reply to Jim_L9

My motherboard doesn't have the option ^^

What mobo do you have?
It may not be supported???
Has it always been like this?
Did you build the PC yourself?

Well, good news guys! The processor seems to be back to normal. WoW runs at 19 fps in good graphic settings in windowed mod 1380x720 with a 7600GT. CPU-Z shows 1.2ghz but I don't think it shows the good things . It would not run at 19 fps with a 1.2 ghz anyway ^^. Thanks everybody!

I have a Intel DG31PR
Speedstep is supported
No, it has not always been like this.
No, I didn't build it myself, I bought it at the local store.
