I first thought an 9500GT was good then I raised my expectations... :ange: Then I was attracted at the 9800 GTX+ for 130, I was looking around on reviews when I saw a GTS 250 beat the 9800 GTX+, I went to newegg and searched the gts 250, it was the same price. I'm now wondering which card is better. Just don't lead me to a whole different card or ATI, Thanks! :p

9800GTX+ and the GTS250 are the same card. The GTS250 is just a tad bit smaller and slightly more overclocked.

Get whatever is cheaper.

Oh and I haven't used xfx, I've seen xfx make cards that have horrible reviews, the 250 gts is http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6814150357 and 9800 gtx + is http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6814130339

Not quiet yet... Newegg is having a secret discount, when I put the xfx 250 in my cart it has a 50 dollar discount. making it 85 dollars

Wow I'm really stupid. Thankyou for pointing that out.

That's only because it's subtracting 49 dollars, but then adding them again for the free gift World at war - OEM

Anyway the 9800GTX+ is the same as the GTS250, except that the 9800GTX+ is capable of tripple SLI while the GTS250 is not. If you're not worried about that then get whatever is cheaper.

XFX has the best warranty, and they actually usually have the best ratings/review (on par or better than evga) in newegg reviews.

The 250 GTS is the better card....as stated above with the whole it runs cooler and can overclock better etc...

I think I'm going with the xfx its about the same price(4 dollars more) with cod waw and I also found a ps2 controler with it for free.

Reply to WeirdMystery

That controller is a pos btw....

I recommend you buy a PS3 controller and run it off either bluetooth or wired....much better quality
