Archived from groups: microsoft.public.pocketpc.multimedia (More info?)

I have a pocket pc x30, and somehow I have managed to load WP 10 on it. I
dont know how it could have got loaded. It came with WP9. and my PC is
running Windows 98SE, and won't accept WP10. Therefore not in sync. I have
tried using remove programs on the x30, but it wont delete them, write
protected etc.
Has any one any ideas how I can go back to WP9 ?
Would be grateful for any help.

I upgraded my Axim x30 and the upgrade to MP10 required an installation of
an entire new version of the OS. During that install process, it saved the
previous version on my laptop as a 32Mb file. In theory I could flash back
to that version, or I could if I hadn't recently deleted it.
