Help setting up optimium partition

I have just completed my first build and I want to have a plan on how to setup and partition my hdd before my first boot up. I will be installing windows 7 and linux Ubuntu. I have a 640 gb hdd. I have personal and work documents, i.e. reports, spreadsheets, etc. Music, movies, and photos. I also have several games that i play.

Looking for advice on how to best set this up.

I would make three partitions:the first TWO partitions 60GB bootable and set Active, and the third partition 520 GB for your data, movies, etc.

Am I correct that the first partition should be windows 7 (60 GB) - data (520 GB) - Ubuntu (60 GB).

What file format should the partitions be?
