if u want a good P55 chipset motherboardat an affordable price then this is the best choice. This is the entry level P55 board from MSI. Whats ur budget? if u can increase ur budget i would recommend EVGA P55 motherboards or Intel's Kingsberg [DP55KG] or Gigabyte's GA-P55-UD5

recommendations about msi p55 cd3 motherboard

I have a MSI p55 cd3 and it is a great board. It worked right out of the box and on 2nd bootup I tried out the OC genie and my I5 went from 2.66ghz to 3.382ghz and with some easy tweaking in the bios it actually ran at 4.0ghz stable for 24 hours. So yes I would suggest this board, it met my expectations and far surpassed them.

If u are in india then MSI-P55-CD53 is definitely the best entry level motherboard in P55 series....if it is available in ur budget....by 200$ budget u mean u can spend 10k INR for the board then in that case i recommend MSI-P55-GD65 [10k+]
or EVGA P55 SLI [10k+]....Gigabyte and ASUS motherboards are overpriced in india compared to their USD prices...so best option is MSI or EVGA if they are available..

Ok so here u go...this is what u can get for an i5 system around 25k. i doubt u can get good 4gigs DDR3 RAM under 5k. it will cost 5.5k atleast.

Intel Core i5-750 CPU @ 10.5k

Motherboard options:

MSI P55-GD65 @ 9.7k

ASUS P7P55-D @ 10k

GA-P55M-UD2 @ 7.5k

The prices will very according to where r u getting it from? which city u in or will u be buying this from?

but for good overclocking u will need a good CPU cooler too....the stock cooler is no good for OC stuff. if u want to OC a lot then MSI-P55-GD65 will be the best... it has auto OC genie button that does the OC automatically

well , if i could get these prices in bhopal then i would go with what you suggested . any recommendation about ram.also is GD65 worth the extra 3.5k over cd3( price?). i just need this system to run good for at least 2 years. :ange:
do you think mobo prices will slash down in 1 or 2 months.i just don't get why we have to buy stuff in india for almost double the money.

i doubt u can get these products or prices in Bhopal. dont know much about IT market of Bhopal. These prices quoted here are the prices of popular dealers in india from Chennai, Chandigarh, Delhi etc. if possible u should get these stuff from some these cities if thr is availability problem or huge price difference.

here is the comparision between CD53 and GD65

if u overclock ur CPU a lot or use SLI or Crossfire them GD65 is worth it. if u will be running ur CPU at recommended spec. CD53 board will do just fine.

not sure about the motherboard prices going down

ya its an irony that IT products are comparatively costlier than in US.

check out www.newegg.com and see the difference in prices.
