Mobo shows ddr3 1600 as 1333 how do i fix this

Solution

What you probably have is DDR3-1333 RAM that has been tested to run at DDR3-1600 speeds.

When the RAM is on the production line, a little chip called an SPD chip is installed with the operating RAM parameters written into it. The BIOS reads that chip and programs the motherboard with those parameters. That's why you see the "1333" data in the BIOS. In the meantime, factory people tested the RAM and found out that it will run at 1600 MHz. So that's what they labeled the package.

After all, DDR3-1600 has got to be better than DDR3-1333, right? :)

you may setting the clock by using BIOS.I giving instruction if you using mebo like me like my profile pict.
1.enter bios
2.enter M.I.T

at here you should read the option by yourself. it hard to explain by word.
