Uninstalled a game and now missing much much more

Hey there all.

I recently downloaded and installed a game called "League of Legends" onto my bigger hard drive but when I installed it, there was no folder name so it just installed all over my Drive D. So I uninstalled the game and this time installed it inside its own folder. After playing the game and deciding that I didn't like it, I uninstalled it again and for some reason... I looked at my Drive D which was at 427GB of free space, it jumped up to 437GB of free space.

When I tried opening some of my other games and programs like WinRAR, VLC Media Player, Steam, CounterStrike and Left4Dead2, they can't be opened.

I have no clue what the heck happened. I tried System Restore but my last System Restore was when it uninstalled and I still have no luck.

Anyone have any tips?

Thanks a lot;

you can always scan your system that's never a bad thing, i feel in this case it might be too late for that.

It may be too late for the missing files, but it might prevent the remaining files from disappearing.
