Core Temp or CPU Temp?

When monitoring CPU temps while overclocking should I be paying attention to my core temperatures or the cpu temperature?

  4. Excellent. I am sitting at 37C under light duty (surfing and downloading) and 47C while gaming at 3.8ghz on stock cooler. Thanks for your help!

  7. Oddly enough I am seeing higher Core temps than I am CPU temps. Is my motherboard just not reporting the temps correctly?
