Which is the power supply of higher quality?
Is it:

the Tuniq Potency 750W

or

the PCP&C Silencer 750 Quad?

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6817611008

The Potency is cheaper than the Silencer after rebate, but PCP&C has a better reputation.

I am running an i7 920 with two 4870s CrossFire'd, so I need 4 PCIe connectors.

If you don't think much of either of these PSUs for my configuration, feel free to suggest something else.

TIA for your advice!!!

The PC P&C silencer 750 is a tier 1 unit on this list, and is unquestionably good:

Tuniq does not appear on the list.

Not trying to question the quality of PCP&C, but according to my knowledge, Tuniq is a newer brand. The list was made in 2008, so they might not have included Tuniq because it didn't exist back then. Just trying to find out for sure.

Surely then it would be better to go for a tried and tested make and model rather than take a shot in the dark?

That list is very out of date, but the Tuniq is built by Sirtec which makes it nothing special.

If you can afford it, I'd recommend the Corsair HX750.
