Advice on what motherboard to buy.

Hey everyone, I decided to replace to the motherboard and processor on my computer and all that, thing is, I have next to no idea what to get aside from my processor, so could someone give me a little advice on what's a good motherboard and ram to go with my new processor?

What will be the main usage of the PC ?
And that CPU is good but going with AM3 would be better...

Anyways for that CPU, I would suggest atleast this board and RAM...Would come to $315 but is worth it...

thanks much man, i went ahead and got an am3, thanks for the tip, didnt even notice, and yeah its for gaming, that seems like a good deal, i would rather go abit over budget than get something not worth it.

If you already have DDR2 ram consider the Gigabyte GMA-790FX-UD5P mobo..
