Advice on what motherboard to buy.

Hey everyone, I decided to replace to the motherboard and processor on my computer and all that, thing is, I have next to no idea what to get aside from my processor, so could someone give me a little advice on what's a good motherboard and ram to go with my new processor?

As a little side note, it would be nice if the total price for all three could be kept below about 300$

Thanks for your help guys.

And that CPU is good but going with AM3 would be better...

Anyways for that CPU, I would suggest atleast this board and RAM...Would come to $315 but is worth it...
  2. If it will be gor gamng, I would suggest you change the CPU to X3 720 and go for a better AM3 board and DDR3 RAM...It would be more upgradeable...
  3. thanks much man, i went ahead and got an am3, thanks for the tip, didnt even notice, and yeah its for gaming, that seems like a good deal, i would rather go abit over budget than get something not worth it.
  4. ^ What are the parts that you have chosen ?
