I have a Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD4p motherboard. I am running Ubuntu 9.04/Windows 7 from two HD's using the RAID0 function on the ICH10R. Is it possible to connect a HD and use the AHCI function for that drive alone? That is to have a RAID0 setup and a AHCI setup connected to the mobo at the same time.

The reason for me asking is that I have managed to install MacOS 10.6 on a drive running AHCI (MacOS needs AHCI) but I would like the possiblity to dual (triple) boot between the three OS's.

Thank you in advance.

The only way I know of is to install them on separate controllers; I have three pair of RAIDs on my Intel ICH9R, and the BIOS loader specifically states "AHCI mode not activated" when RAID is enabled; I have a large Seagate backup drive running AHCI on the GSATA (jMicron JMB36xx) controller...
