I cannot install Winxp

Could the mobo be the reason i cant install winxp on a IDE or SATA HDD, ive tried both only to land at the BSOD!! the bios shows the hardware but when it goes to install windows i get the BSOD after the setup files have finished loading right before the cd rom is supposed to kick in and start installing.

This is probably a set up issue in BIOS .

To install on the SATA drive try disabling AHCI and enabling native IDE mode for the sata ports
