I have an Asus P5Q pro mobo and ATI Radeon HD 4870 1GB card.
I thought it odd that the driver installed is called ATI Radeon HD 4800 Series instead of 4870.
Anyway Asus Smart Doctor can't get info on this board so it doesn't run and Ai suite and EPU-6 Engine don't seem to see it either.
When I download the driver from ATI site it got installed as ATI Radeon HD 4800 Series.
Help!

I have the same situation. I don't think there is a problem with HD4800 series driver. Maybe Asus Smart Doctor can see HD4870x2, but the doctor is not smart enough to detect half of it: HD4870. Maybe an update is needed.

so what needs to be conducted to resolve this issue, the ai suite & six engine can prove utterly beneficial if some how smart doc identifies ati 4800 series drivers. i m using hd 4870 1gb ddr5 & smart doc seems quite confused with it. kindly provide a way out if someone has it.
