Hi

I have a Intel 1.5 GHz based processor, I have increased the RAM to 1.5 GB.

Is there a way to increase additional processing speed to 3 GHz or do I need to change the motherboard itself.

Please clarify.

You won't be able to overclock your cpu that much. Newegg has some combo specials; one is posted in their email promos for this weekend. It includes the e5200, g31 board, and 4 gigs of memory for around $122 after rebates. You need to register with them to receive the promo specials. Newegg is a great place to shop even if you purchase somewhere else. They have great photos and links to manufacturer's websites.
