I have a nvidia 650i mobo with a Realtek ALC888 8 Channel onboard sound card.

At my bestbuy right now, the fatal1ty x-fi titanium is selling for $99

Should I shell out the $100 for this card, or is there something just as good for $100?

I have a logitech g51 5.1 system http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] tech%20g51

Thanks for the advice, please post if you can help!

That asus card doesn't have these features the x-fi titanium card does:

Realistic EAX 5.0 sound effects in games
Accurate 3D positional audio with X-Fi CMSS-3D

I need really good 3d sound because I play fps games semi-pro, so this purchase is really important to me.

Can you explain WHY the asus card is the best, even though it doesn't seem to have as many features?

Oh dear...

Yes it has just as much EAX 5.0 capability as the x-fi, meaning it really doesn't but it comes close. Neither optimally support EAX 5.0, they use different means of simulating EAX 5.0. As for the other, its just vapor and means nothing.

People don't buy a sound card because of the features, they buy them because of the sound quality with the features a second issue. If you only care about features then the Asus DX isn't for you, but if you care at all for the sound quality then it is.
