Hello, I downloaded the Everest program and after looking at my ram i am concerned. I am not an expert but i have a good knowledge of computers and have built quite a few for myself and friends. I have an HP Pavilion laptop. I upgraded the ram to 8gb of corsair ram from newegg http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145599. when looking at everest it shows 3 different memory timings. first is @400 MHz 6-6-6-18, the second @333MHz 5-5-5-15, and third @266MHz 4-4-4-12. shouldnt i have just 2 timings showing, 1 for each stick at 400MHZ at 6-6-6-18? Also the temperature is at 90c and at 8.53 volts. Is all this normal, im not all that familiar with laptops and how hot they run and everything. Thank you for any help you can provide.

Well.... 90C is very very hot. I think it's most likely the program is reading the temp wrong - try another one like CPUID's Hardware Monitor. 90C on your lap would give you 3rd degree burns.

You'll see 3 different timings because you're looking at the SPD, a chip on the RAM which shows the timings recommended at different speeds. I assume it's DDR type RAM, so the 400 would mean DDRx-800, etc... Look for the page that gives you a choice between slot/module 1 and 2. Try CPU-z from same place - CPUID.com

The link you gave doesn't work so can't chk specs. Might point to specs on RAM maker's website.
