Ok, so I have narrowed it down to two USB flash drives...
I wanted a cheap drive (price per GB's), and Decided that the 8GB's drives is where I feel comfortable buying. I don't really want to buy a 16GB because the good 16GB drives are a bit more expensive.
Since I'm going for cheap, I can't decide between these two drives:
Kingston DataTraveler 101 Gen 2 8GB
or
A-DATA Classic Series 8GB
Those were the 2 cheapest 8GB's on newegg, so all it is now is a fashion contest...
Which USB drive should I buy?
also if anyone might find it helpful, here's the little quick info that I've gathered on price per GB on newegg based on the cheapest drive available...

1GB - $18.13
2GB - $3.25
4GB - $2.00
6GB(2GBx3) - $3.83
8GB - $1.62
8GB(4GBx2) - $2.00
10GB(2GBx5) - $3.38
12GB(4GBx3) - $2.33
16GB - $1.56
16Gb(4GBx4) - $1.75
32GB - $1.41
64GB - $1.78

There's a 4GB Kingston on Newegg for $6 (the purple one)making it $1.50 per gig. Type of flash drive doesnt really matter much as long as it's a name brand. I'd just go for whichever is cheapest or whichever design you like. Personally, I hate caps, I always lose them so both of those look good. I have a Kingston with the swivel top like that, it's nice enough but that Adata looks like it's retractable, I love that design.

Huh... I can't seem to find the purple kingston on there.....
and I like both designs, but I don't know which one might be better or looks better... lol
Both Adata and kingston have been good brands for me, and I dislike caps too. Both of the drives don't have a cap.
