Hi,

I am looking for an LGA1366 cpu socket to replace a damaged one on a motherboard. Does anyone know where you can purchase CPU sockets (other than an electronics store)?

Cpu sockets are never repaired. Have you tried it out? What is the nature of the damage?

Thanks for the quick response. The socket has bent and missing pins so it doesn't work. I would like to replace the whole socket. It appears to be attached to the motherboard with torx screws. Has anyone heard of doing this? Thanks.

Along with about 1366 solder points. Where do you think each of the pins end?
