Can't Sync WMP 10

I'm using WMP 10 on my PC and my Axim X30. Whenever I try to sync a
playlist, no matter how long or short it is, WMP 10 either hangs on my PC
with a spinning hourglass or tells me that the files are in use and I should
stop playing them (I'm not playing any files at the time). I've tried
syncing while I had ActiveSync 3.7.1 running; when that didn't work, I
upgraded to 3.8. I'm able to see my Axim's storage card in WMP 10 on my PC,
and I can still add or remove files by viewing the card in ActiveSync; WMP 10
is the problem. Thanks in advance for any help.
