Well its been a few weeks reading here and there on this site, and ive finally been able to get a 3.6ghz stable clock.

I built this PC back in December '08 with intentions of not having to upgrade for a bit

Motherboard : MSI P7n-Sli Fi

Ram :D dr2 Corsair dominator 1066 @ [387mhz shown in CPUz so im guessing thats gonna be at like 800mhz] (fsb:D ram= 16:15, 5-5-5-18 2t @1.9v)

Processor : Q9650 @3.6 1700mhz fsb, Linked, 8.5 multiplier, 424 bus speed. 1.28v

Video Card : Nvida GTS250 1gb x2 SLI

Power Supply : 850watt PS

so now the question is how the heck do i get the ram to run at the right speed?

heres a Screenshot btw.

basically i want the RAM to run at its designed speed 1066mhz @ 2.1v with timings of
5-5-5-15 2t as advertised by corsair.

however whenever i set the dram frequency to 1066 @2.1v 5-5-5-15 2t it just blue screens. for it to be stable i have it linked/set to auto.
