Installing a SATA Optical Drive.

I'm buying a SATA Optical Drive off Newegg.com for less than $20 and I was wondering if I would need anything other than a SATA cable. I got two cables with my motherboard and I'd like to use the other one and get ride of the IDE drive that I have. Didn't know about SATA cables at the time I was making my computer, but I want to switch them out so that bulky cable isn't in there and in the way.

Sata drives take a different power cable than IDE drives as well so make sure you have an extra one, you can buy an adapter if you don't though.

I think my motherboard came with two packs that had both the SATA date cable and the SATA power cable.
