Could you overclock the card to 830/940 just to see what the numbers go to. Should be pretty much automatic on CCC.

I'm having an issue and cannot overclock at this point. Riva and overdrive will crash when i attempt it. I'll try and figure it out and get back to everyone.

Nice effort, but I think it is best to actually use games to benchmark video cards since 3DMark is not a firm indication as to the card's actual performance in the various games available.

Perhaps compare the HD 4770 to your previous card using games / demos with benchmarking options like Quake 4 (yeah kinda old), or X3: Terran Conflict rolling demo. That way you have some point of reference at least for yourself. I don't really play many games so I don't many current games with a built-in benchmarking function other than X3: TC rolling demo.

The stalker clear sky demo is probably one of the most up to date demo's for stressing a system.
