Is this motherboard (SATA 6.0Gb/s (Sata III)) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... compatible with SATA 3.0Gb/s(Sata II)/ 3.5 Internal Hard Drive http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... ?
And since it's just a bare drive what cables would I need to buy for the motherboard and psu?

Thanks in advance.

SATA3 is backward compatable with SATA1 & SATA2. If you buy a bare drive, it will come with no cables, but your motherboard should come with some. Any modern PSU will have SATA power connectors.
