Is there anybody that has ever used dual monitors for gaming? I've been having some problems with softTh (since the setting are for triple monitors by default). And I can't seem to find anybody that's used Dualhead to go (and everyone seems to be using 3 monitors or more).

Currently I have a 19" CRT (KDS) and a 17" CRT (Proview) :( . If circumstances permit, then I'll replace those CRT's with 19" LCD's. I was originally trying to get a 9800 GX2 or a 3870 X2 and attach 3 monitors to it (I found some good prices on ebay for those cards). Of course I'd have to use a HDMI to DVI adapter on the 9800 GX2. As far as the 3870X2 goes I was looking at the Asus or the Visiontek 3870x2's.

Most of the games I play are at 3072 x 768 @85HZ on softTh or 2400 X 768 @ 85hz on softTh (with Window mode so that way the game will be forced into fitting into both my monitors), so I wanted something that can handle 3 monitors. I don't know if there's any single card (non-sli or non-Corssfire) that can handle those resolutions + BE UNDER $200 (yes I'm a cheapskate) . The games that I play with SoftTh settings are: Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, Assassins Creed, Armed Assault, Tomb Raider Underworld and soon to be GTA IV. Problem is that not every game (like NBA 2K9 or Madden 2008 can't be played on dual monitors no matter how hard I try).

So the questions I want to ask are:
1. Has anyone gotten softTH to work on dual screens? Where the full screen fits into both monitors?

2. Is there a non-SLI card that can handle 3 monitors (I will be getting another monitor) or two monitors?
