Ocz vertex 2 running at 80 degrees centigrade

My OCZ Vertex 2 120GB SSD seems to reach 80 deg C, as registered with Hardware Monitor.

Is this normal?

No, My Pheonix Pro comes up at 0 C Which is incorrect as I do not have computer in Freezer. Your 80 C is very likly incorrect. Just put your finger on it, @ 80 C you will remove your finger in about 1 to 2 Sec.

Should be incorrect do what RetiredChief said with the finger. However there are some reviews on Newegg on the 60GB drive that said their drive literally caught fire.

These things are not made in the US so crappy Chinese quality wouldn't surprise me.
