ST2 Uni. Poor Grunt.

So sad. You know I 'had problems' getting the expansion pack to work until
my third reinstall of both games? Well, I brought my old neighbourhood back
in, being as they were all settled in their little prefabricated squats,
apart from the few Strangetown families planted over the other side of the
canal.

Poor General Grunt. Son lost at sea, it appears. Went off to college and
never came back again and nobody seems to care, either. Collective amnesia.
'Yes, I had a third son... Where? Er, I don't know.'

Now second son is primed enough to take his turn on the educational
treadmill and General Daddy waved him off quite happily. Perhaps he is
hoping that this son will disappear into a black hole as well.
I do think is the case as he has now moved into a smaller house with only
three bedrooms and is hoping to fill that room with a baby - if only he can
find another wife.
Although... he does say 'have a baby,' and if I can get the Beakers up and
running to my satisfaction, and lure the general into Loki's nice new lab,
then 'have' a baby might be just what he gets.

Goopy hasn;t turned up yet. Glum.

I've never seen Goopy in Strangetown. I don't think he lives
there.

No-no. I brought the Grunts, the Beakers, The Curious brothers and Nervous,
from Strangetown into a new neighbourhood (along with all their memories.)
Used the Verona map because I could have a posh side and scruffy side of
town.

Goopy is there, I have seen him on the SimPe spy-cam. The wretch is
unemployed so playing fair I will just have to hope he blunders along a road
or turns up in a community lot one day, then I can pounce.

Loki has a room all prepared. It has bars on the windows.

Not tonight he didn't. One minute he was pottering round his house with a
hefty bank account, the next he was broke and his Lady wife had taken to
sleeping as a hobby. Bored, I also sent him to bed until the, hopefully,
twins, arrived and galloped them through two days keeping them both asleep
and happy.
One baby. Delilah, a girl.
Huh. No sooner had he said 'diddums, bobby-wobby, den?'
Bang! back to the start and do it all over again.
One baby. A girl. ah heck.

Back to the start and off I went to find another victim. Not a pregnant
person to be found.
Went to Strangetown where the original families still frolic in the sand of
the desert and General Grump, or Buzz, whatever, still has three sons.
Grabbed Dr Frankenstein, a newcomer, bundled him into his own machine and he
staggered out pregnant.
Exit. SimPe him to ten Simoleons. back to game.
Sent him to bed for three days on fast forward.
One baby, a girl. Damn!!!!

Back to the drawing board.
