Amd 6 core and asus crosshair 3 formula mobo?

AMD Phenom II X6 1100T Thuban 3.3GHz, 3.7GHz Turbo 6 x 512KB L2 Cache 6MB L3 Cache Socket AM3 125W Six-Core Desktop Processor, I've been looking at this cpu for and upgrade in my asus crosshair 3 mobo, will it work and will I have to flash my bios? how do I flash bios?

asus crosshair III formula is also an am3 socket same as the crosshair IV formula/extreme, amd 1055t - 1100 are also am3 socket cpu's it will work fine with the crosshair III although crosshair III is equipped with AMD 790FX/SB750.
if your system fine, not recommend for update bios !
use flash bios from CD bundle your mobo & download bios from ASUS site
