I have a Pentium D 820 (dual core) processor I pulled from another CPU, and I was wondering if I could improve my other computer by installing it in place of the Celeron D 360 processor. Would it do damage to try it?

Thank You

You will get some performance, if your motherboard supports the new CPU. If I were you I would see what CPUs the motherboard supports and buy a e5200 if it is supported. Then you would notice a big difference.
