I have a HP rx3115. I saved a number of MP3 files to the
storage card and could add them to playlists when I first
starting using the program. From the "menu" button, the
library command used to show "my device" and "storage
card". After using it sucessfully a number of times,
suddenlt the option to see "stoarge card" does not show
up. I can see the files with file explorer and if I
click on one - it will play, but the library command does
not give the option to look at the storage card. I don't
remember seeing the "ignore_my_documents" file prior to
this problem - now it is there. I have tried moving the
files to various locations on the card (root directory,
under a my documents folder) - but can't get the command
back. Have done a soft reset several times. Also tried
the "update library" command - but it still won't locate
any files of the storage card.

Any ideas???

Do you still have the option of going to Library\menu\open file and opening
a song on the sd card directly from Media player? If so, will it then add
the songs in the directory to the now playing list? If so, you might find
that it will then do an update to the library.

If not, then pull the card, do a soft reset, run MP10 and reinsert the card.

If that fails, then a hard reset might be in your plans soon.

Good Luck
