how do i get my sata port to say that it is installed im trying to put another dvd drive in my computer using sata and it won't find the sata at all

they are controlled in the bios, make sure all sure controllers are enabled

a sata optical drive my not show in bios unless you select manually detect while in the bios. windows should detect it regardless
