What happens when you turn it off in the bios, other then not being able to boot your other windows builds? Why are you using W2k?

i dint kno hw 2 turn it off i wasnt able 2 find it in bios!!!!!

What does do some work on it mean?

Its a SATA drive mode, so to turn it off means to change the SATA drive to IDE compatibility mode or something like that.

Dude, I'm sorry. I got my letters mixed up. ACPI is the Advanced Configuration and Power Interface, and has nothing to do with drives. It should be found in the power section of your bios. You don't want to turn this off however.

it gives s1 & s3 states both not supported!!!

Tell you what you should do? You still haven't told me/us what your trying to do. Without knowing whats wrong, I don't know what to suggest.

well wen i boot 4rm cd it still gvs da blue screen of acpi error!!
i changed da state to S1 in bios but still no difference!!!
