I was looking at buying some ram and a new cpu for my computer. The problem is I cant quite figure out if I can run them all to spec or not. I have a Abit Fatal1ty an9 32x mobo. I want to put 4 gigs of Patriot Viper II 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066 in along with a AMD Phenom II X4 940 but im not sure if I can run it. Could any one help??

Fatality AN9 32X / AN9 32X CPU support list

looks like there are no phenom models (not even Phenom I)

though you may want to google search people running procesors on the board unofficially since that may work and save you some money on a new MOBO

I will search that, but incase I do infact need a new mobo can a ati chipset on a mobo run an Nvidia card? I have noticed anything that is socketed for an amd is also ati now probably due to the fact that amd owns ati. So would I be able to combine a Nvidia and amd combo
