im building ym first computer and was wondering what board to buy as im stuck between 2......i have already brought amd phenom ll x4 955 blk edition with ddr3 1600 and ati hd 4870...i will eventually be using ati crossfirex when i got the money to buy another card.....witch 1 is better??

I would go with a Gigabyte personally, but out of those two I would take the Asus.

Neither is really better than the other. They both run 16x/8x in crossfire. If you want 16x/16x crossfire you need a 790FX.

I agree with zipzoom. Of the two choices you have listed, I'd choose the Asus. And if you know that you are going to CrossFire, spend the money now for a 790FX.
