PCI Express x16 ??? PCI Express x16 2.0 ???

going to buy a new gfx card really soon but i just noticed that all the cards i have seen like the 4850 are PCI Express x16 2.0 ... Now i have a Gigabyte P35-S3 Version 1 and i know i have a PCI Express x16 as it is running my Geforce 8800GTS so how can i tell what version my PCI Express x16 is ?

your motherboard hasnt got a 2.0 but it can still run a pci-e x16 2.0 so dont worry about it... all it is is clock speeds and transfer rates so nothing to worry about my friend

if i wanted to upgrade my mobo but still keep my Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 which board for around £60 is worth getting
