I work with 2-12GB spreadsheets and am trying to find the most adequate hardware. Thoughts?

Get a powerful CPU like Intel's Core i7 920 and as much RAM as possible. Note that 32-bit Windows (the type that's most used) can only support a maximum of 3.25GB of RAM.
