I am planning on buying the i7 system and I don't know if my current power supply will be able to handle the setup.

Current PSU: Antec EarthWatts 430W

My current Video Card is a EVGA 9600GT

Plan on purchasing:

i7 920 CPU

GIGABYTE GA-EX58-UD4P

6 GB DDR3 ram

Will my power supply be able to handle this? My Second question is, if the answer is yes, will it be able to handle GTX 260 with the 9600GT as a physics card?

Thanks in advance.

My i7 setup with GTX260 draws right around 400W on full load (LinX 7 threads and Furmark), you'd be on the edge, but I think it should work. You won't ever stress as much as 8 threads and full GPU load.

I wouldn't risk your whole system with that PSU. If I were you, I'd spend $80 on a PSU for peace of mind.

You won't ever stress as much as 8 threads and full GPU load.

I want to see if that holds true in 2 years lol.
There'll be a time when the Core i7 will be considered slow, or low-end. Just as what happens with dual cores nowadays.

I would say yes to both (assuming a 55nm 260) if you're not OCing, but since the PSU only has a single PCIe connector I'd recommend getting one with at least 2.
