I can't really find a subsection for this...so here goes.

I saw a local listing a couple of days ago about a promotion on a local brand of LCD monitor makers. The price for a 22" was about $40 off regular price, and the stated refresh rate is 2ms.

My question is, how many Hz in CRT monitor does 2ms refresh rate corresponds to? The simple calculation of inverting 2ms yields 500Hz... does it seems right? What should be the limiting factor here, the refresh rate of the LCD or the power of the GPU? (The resolution is 1680x1050, and my GPU is 4870).
