Hi all,

This is a great forum, everyone is so helpful.

I have 2 questions on motherboards.

1) How can I tell if a AMD motherboard supports Crossfire? So I just look for 2 PCI Express 2.0 x16 slots? I looked at the specs in newegg for various boards and it doesn't indicate if they support crossfire or not.

2) If I plan on buying a external graphics card, does it make a difference if the motherboard has a onboard GPU or not?

THanks!

1) If the board supports CrossfireX or SLI it will say so in the specifics.

2) Nope.
