I should be getting a new gaming PC in May so I thought I might aswell spec it now since it's only a month to go. I prefer AMD/ATI so I based it on a P2 720, ATI 4830. I am also using DDR3 and do not need a HDD or OS. I came up with this on scan.

CPU: Phenom II 720 £120
Mobo: ASUS M4A79T-E £112
RAM: 3x2GB Corsair xms3 1333mhz £64 (chose it because 2x2gb was actually £5 more)
GFX card: XFX Radeon 4830 £80
PSU: Silverpower(seasonic) "Green Power" 500w 80 plus certified £46
Case: XClio Propellor £30
DVD-RW £10

Samsung BEBE probably, or LG if scan gets them in stock.

Looks good, but the video card seems a little weak, unless you're playing on a small monitor. I'd grab a 4850 if you can afford it.
