what about chipset??
is it good ffor windows vista

If I'm not mistaken, using the Pentium 4 limits you to the AGP platform. So if you want "good support for computer graphics use", get the best video card that's compatible with your motherboard. Which is what, btw?

Welcome to the forums!

IF your CPU is a socket 775 part (use CPUz to find out) and IF your GPU is PCIe (use GPUz to find out), an ASUS or Gigabyte P45 based motherboard is what you need.
If the CPU is a socket 478 part OR your GPU is an AGP part, you will need to purchase more than just a motherboard.

Please post a detailed description of what components are in your system and more details on the intended usage (gaming, pictures or rendering graphics?) and we will be able to better assist you.

P4's got the 915/925 chipsets (only supported single core cpu's too) with DDR1/2 and PCIE

as for graphics - PENTIUM 4 = FORGET ABOUT IT, its way too slow and too old and oh so crap

ummmmm btw is this a desktop or a laptop - your specs say 2.5'' HDD and SO-DIMM (laptop) ram

if its desktop stuff, dump the motherboard and cpu and get an AMD Phenom II or Intel Core 2 Duo/Quad and a new video card and use windows vista/7

just forget about that pentium 4
