How to format computer c drive with a pen drive

Hello,my cd rom is no working so i want to format my pc with a pen drive loaded xp

Hey there, to use a flash drive to install windows, you have to make sure your motherboard supports usb booting... else the whole process of getting your WinXP setup to a usb drive will be a waste of time...

If your mobo does support usb booting you can use a utility to get the setup from the disc to a usb drive. Try WinToFlash (worked for me)

check if ur mobo supports usb booting by refering its manual.or check for a choic named usb boot in the boot menu.
