Major Problem with both of my hard drives

Yeah i have a a problem over here i have 2 hard drives 1tb and the other one is 500gb so i installed windows 7 on the 1tb while the 500gb was connected everything is ok but my 500gb is old and makes probelms so i disconnected him from the computer untill i found out that i need the 500gb to boot up my windows so windows 7 installed the MBR on the 500gb and i cant remove him i even checked the boot.ini and it says that my 500gb drive is the boot loader windows repair wont even work how can i fix this?

Bootrec may be able to fix it for you.
