Does higher Resolution Burn lcd faster over time?

Hey guys I bought Crysis... and was wondering if you play games with all settings to the highest do you wear out your flat screen lcd faster over time... ?

No. Why would it?

you only get 'burn in' if you leave the same frame on the monitor for a long time, like hours, it's a shorter time on plasma's but not by much.

No you are correct, you dont get burn in on a LCD. You do get something called Image persistance. Which is not the same thing. Image Burn in cant be fixed. Image persistance can be fixed by colour washing the screen. Also it takes a long time to get it.
