hello everyone

I recently bought some extra memory for my pc.I had 1GB of DDR RAM now i removed that ***, and put in 2x1GB ddr 2.After getting this done, my pc only reads the total ram as 1gb ?! I've already tried updade the BIOS, reinstal windows but nothing works. can I do something to make my ram fully readable to 2GB??

PC Specs:

Intel Pentium D 2.66GHz

Windows XP SP2

GeForce 6800xt 256MB

GIGABYTE GA-8VT880P Combo Motherboard
